It's sad how we seldom ask God for help until we're out of other options. 3321

Live it..
Moses lead the children of Israel out of Egypt, but found himself backed up to the Red Sea without any plan to get across. His situation became more desperate when Pharaoh's army advanced on his position, leaving him nowhere to run. Moses however, was confident he was in the center of God's plan and that didn't include getting him and those who just escaped, killed. With God's staff in his possession, he had the power to wave it over the Egyptians and destroy them. But, whether God told him or he just knew, he raised it over the water instead and saw God's mighty power displayed, for the people and the enemy to see. They not only escaped unharmed, but saw God's confirming presence and their threat removed at the same time.
Is there something in your life so bad that if God doesn't help you, you feel you're going to die, if not physically, then spiritually? Most of us have one or more Pharaohs in our life. That's a stubborn and nagging issue that holds us in bondage and destroys our joy. If so, how do you plan on dealing with it today? If you have the Holy Bible, then you have the rod of God. And if you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, then you not only have the power of God, but He lives in you. So, what are you going to do? Will you use the Bible to whack people on the head, or ask God to prove Himself mighty through your situation? While you're thinking, consider this: you've tried everything else and nothing has worked, so what do you have to lose by trusting God?

Thank you for being the Light in my darkest night, and my joy in the midst of heartache. Help me remember my confession before wasting time doing it my way.
