He rains down fire and burning sulfur upon wicked people. He makes them drink from a cup filled with scorching wind.

Live
I've never seen it before, but I'm told putting a living frog in boiling water will cause him to jump out. However, put him in cool water and slowly turn up the heat to boiling, I'm told the frog will not only stay in the water, but die a slow death. I've always wondered why someone wanting to cook a frog wouldn't just put the cover on the pot and save time. But then, there's biology class in high school. How did all those frogs in those big jars meet their demise? Were they injected with a quick working poison, or stabbed to death at night with a gigging pole? Or, were they put in those jars alive and allowed to die a slow death with other frogs? So which do you think is better, a fast or a slow death? Either way, frogs aren't given a choice.

We humans are like frogs in that we both die one time, but unlike them and according to the Bible, we die once just to face a second death. The Bible says the second one is not only a slow and painful one, but eternal, if approached without a Savior who has been victorious over death. So, born once, die twice; born twice, die once. I can't prove it, in fact I'm waiting for my first time to die, and have never spoken to a dead person to ask him (If you have, please don't call me). I don't know much, but I have learned it's not smart to doubt God, even if you haven't seen Him, seen His footprints or can prove what He said. Is it just me, or does anyone else smell formaldehyde?

Pray it
Thank You, that I can trust the death thing to You and focus on living for You until then.
