One-Minute Devotionals reveal in a single sentence, underlying truth about specific Scripture.

God also said to Moses, “I am the LORD.  I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty, but by my name the LORD I did not make myself known to them.

Learn it.
Privilege is not always earned.

Live it.
When we're young, we tend to take good memory for granted. But one of the effects of growing older is the ever increasing inability to remember things, like a person's name. Now, I'm not qualified to suggest why that's so, but I can report what I've found to be true in my own life.

When I care about someone, I will not only know their name, but speak it. I've found the only way to do that, is to use it and use it often. And what better way than repeat it when I see them and when God brings them to mind for me to pray for them?

Pray it
God, forgive me for forgetting so many who You sent my way to be remembered.
