4241. Go to Scripture to know what to do; go to your knees to know God. JG
See what you did?
Investing is the art of helping something to grow. Some people invest in evil causing others to return the favor. I know because I feel the urge driving down the streets of Memphis everyday. But some invest in righteousness and make someone's life better for knowing them. That should the the goal of every person, especially the Christian. But sadly, some of us are so focused on improving our personal stock, we devalue others by treating them with disrespect.
Every investor spends time evaluating his portfolio and making adjustments to minimize loss and maximize profits. We Christians should do the same thing, After all, God's Word is the standard by which we live (or at least it should be). So why not evaluate the way we treat it? We can spend more time reading it and even more time doing what it says, so as to leave less time to be stupid.
Thank You, God, for giving me a brain, but more for teaching me how to use it.
