One-Minute Devotionals reveal in a single sentence, underlying truth about specific Scripture.

Prayer - from the backside

Live it.
It's amusing how little children incessantly ask "why" to every answer. But as we get older, we learn that not only are answers few and far between, but variable according to who you ask. Scientists claim their reasoning process is best, but sometimes truth becomes a "best" answer.

I was glad to hear the repairman fixed my daughter's air conditioning unit.  But because he did the work for her landlord, he didn't see the need to tell the tenant specifically what he did to "fix" the problem.  She learned two things: 1) everything with moving parts breaks and 2) just because something works, it doesn't mean it's without a problem.  It's the same way with Scripture.  ALL the answers are there, but if we never ask a question, they're on a need-to-know basis.

Pray it
Thank You, LORD, for answers to questions before I ask them.
