One-Minute Devotionals reveal in a single sentence, underlying truth about specific Scripture.

Yet I do not receive testimony from man, but I say these things that you may be saved.

See it.
Whatever it takes

Live it.
I love talking to another pastor and finding out that there's nothing new under the sun (to borrow a line).  Of course, that statement will anger some who know me, because not graduating a traditional seminary, some might believe I lack the credentials that make up membership to the preacher club.  The lack of acceptance by most pastors I know had dissuaded me. I have one Advocate and He expects me to perform my ministry independent of the establishment.

Breakfast with a new pastor friend the other day was educational because like me, he doesn't know where he fits in the church we attend.  We discussed theology and many other things and was later surprised when someone asked me where and when he was ordained. I realized then, that I hadn't asked him because I don't care about credentials when value to God is placed on obedience.

Pray it
Make me a good shepherd, LORD; I reject all other job descriptions.
