Today's Scripture: "And I do not seek My own glory; there is One who seeks and judges." Jn 8:50

Willy or won't he?
Most people think they live in a world of choice and chance. They view their beginning as a light switch flicked on and that switch being turned off at death. For them life lies between the bookends of birth and death with nothing to gain but experience. That's why I love telling people about God's purpose for them that began long before their birth and extends far beyond the grave for their earth suit.
It's natural to believe we are the center of the universe where everything is relative to us. But I believe every person is destined to interact with other people and expected to fit in. After all, life is a series of decisions that when rendered lead to certain inevitability—in us and those around us. In scientific terms, it's called cause and effect. In a world view, it's considered cosmic, but in spiritual terms it's God's will and I willingly surrender mine to His.
Thank You, Jesus, for faith that doesn't require reason.
