Today's Scripture: "My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad." Ps 34:2
5582. Praise is the transference of honor to the one who truly deserves it. JG
It's good to hear and see someone give God the glory. But sometimes I wonder who the dancing, spiking and taunting pro athletes are pointing to in the sky after they score. A righteous man gives God the glory but he doesn't use his expression of praise to impress or taunt anyone. Simply speaking, some pro athletes, like Tim Tebow, are men of God, but most who act holy aren't. Quite frankly, God doesn't care what team wins a game or who scores more points or who gets more awards. Tim doesn't seek attention, but it finds him and he often is ridiculed by people who give him attention. Too bad, they don't get to know him or His God and make themselves the loser.
It's my honor to praise You, Jesus, and give You all the glory.
