Today's Scripture: "A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; He rages against all wise judgment." Pr. 18:1

Most people believe that in a perfect world, there is no disagreement and everyone lives today in harmony. I hate to burst your bubble but that won't happen before heaven. Even in the millennial kingdom with Christ on the throne, sin is alive and according to Scripture, it will end in men trying to kill Him again. So it might be time to embrace our differences and learn to live in peace with those who disagree with us.
Having said that, I am encouraged by "blue" sanctuary cities and school campuses. Don't misunderstand me. I disagree with everything urban cities stand for. In fact, I think they represent the most radical of ideals, hate, and violence. They are places where crime is protected for the sake of political objectivity and fairness and innocent citizens face the consequences. Part of me wants to build that Mexico border wall around these cities, place armed guards to keep them in and cutoff any communication that lets them express any opinion with the rest of America. Then I'm reminded that "they" have the same attitude toward me and anyone who agrees with me. So I will choose to love them, but it doesn't mean we will ever agree on anything of substance and I do not have to listen to their rants of discontent.
I don't know why You love me, but I'm glad You do, God.
