Today's Scripture: "When the wicked comes, contempt comes also; And with dishonor comes reproach." Pr. 18:3

5632. Who but a politician compares bad with worse and calls it good? JG

See it.

Escalating empty

Live it.

Most of social media postings are nonsense, but I saw one yesterday that still makes me smile. Two people were on an escalator that stopped moving. Both of them began crying for help and complaining about the broken device. What they didn't do was walk up the remainder of the steps to get off. While not affixing this idiotic behavior to everyone whose candidate lost the recent election, it seems to apply to most. There comes a time when you must move on and stop whining or you'll die from stupidity.

I remember watching West Wing on television years ago. In the drama, carefully prepared disasters were overcome by resourceful proud Americans obeying the law. In the last few days, someone has assembled those old actors to appeal to Americans to break the law and turn back the election. That's crazy but what's crazier is someone thought these "hero" has- beens were people of integrity who deserve our respect. Someone needs to get off the broken escalator and stop complaining to people who view them as pathetic.

Pray it.

I confess, God, it's hard to listen to people who don't listen to You.
