Today's Scripture: "And you shall set the showbread on the table before Me always." Ex 25:30
5636. What's in me will consistently come out of me. JG
With my wife steadily pinching me, I kept my mouth shut right to the very end. Someone was substitute teaching us Sunday morning about sharing the gospel. I accepted the fact most people need to be motivated to do it but fumed when it was suggested that was normal. What pushed me over the top was misinterpretation of Scripture to suit that false premise of normality.
The speaker invited comments so I felt obliged to offer it. "If you have to be convinced to share the gospel, you need to keep your mouth shut. The church is already packed with people like you who think they are saved but will be told by Jesus that He doesn't know you. If you are saved, the Holy Spirit is in you and if He is in You He will not be quiet. There will be evidence or He isn't there (Mt. 7:21)."
Thank You, Holy Spirit, for teaching and reminding me whose I am.
