Today's Scripture: "And six branches shall come out of its sides: three branches of the lamp stand out of one side, and three branches of the lamp stand out of the other side." Ex 25:32

Happy Holydays

Live it.

The first shipment of TODO planners came in yesterday marking the beginning of a new year. As exciting as that is, passing time will not charted by everyone. Sadly, this week has seen a flurry of deaths of notable people and friends who have died during the Christmas season. (My wife just walked in and told me of yet another friend's death) It's always hard to lose someone you love but it might be worse to forever have your sorrow connected to a annual season of celebration.

The Jewish menorah, or "lamp" in Hebrew, is another term for Hanukkah the symbol of Jewish hope. For each day of the seven days of Hanukkah, Jews will light another candle representing one of the seven temples in history. The nation was in a different condition with every temple and their hope is for peace under Messiah when the next one is standing. In the spirit of Christmas, the new temple won't be nearly as delightful as finding Christmas and Hanukkah are forever linked through the coming Messiah, Jesus Christ the Lamb of God.

Pray it.

Our hope is built on You, Jehovah Tsidkenu, our Righteousness.
