When my associate and I arrived on site of the Simulation Building in Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas, we planned to measure where our product would be installed. But the conversation was more about the purpose of the building than a tape measure. After asking around, we never got a clear answer but concluded it was intended to create scenarios by which variations of military response could be judged. After finishing our work we concluded the building itself was a scenario designed to test our response. Next month we will know if our company has passed the test.

While the effect of God's details may not be immediatelyvisible, there is no doubt as to His message. We should pay more careful attention both to what we observe and what we do. In that spirit may I suggest a worthy resolution for the new year: If I can't make something better, I'll leave it as I found it.

Pray it.

You deserve more, God, than what most of us consider adequate.
