Today's Scripture: "And its wick-trimmers and their trays shall be of pure gold." Ex 25:38

It was announced this week that the Barnum and Bailey Circus is closing its doors for lack of interest and harassment from animal rights people. Not to worry, there are plenty of places to go see clowns and elephants in the room. Just go to the average church service. As long as people are ignoring God's demand for holiness, there will always be dog and pony tricks to see.
It's amazing how many people believe that sin is no longer an issue because of Calvary and their profession of faith. It's even more amazing that a person can say they love God but never confess his sins (personal failures). That won't stop them from praying, teaching or even preaching however. They believe being clean applies to someone else, probably someone with a degree from seminary. Scripture tells us that God doesn't hear someone like that (Psalm 66:18) and such a person is not even one of His children (1Jn 3:6).
I wonder, God, how the world would be impacted if we, Your children, were honest about sin.
