Today's Scripture: "The length of each curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits, and the width of each curtain four cubits. And every one of the curtains shall have the same measurements." Ex 26:2

See it.

Slope n square

Live it.

In October of 2006, after 23 years of inactivity in the metal fabrication field, I found myself right back in the mix. I wish I could say all my energy came back for the reunion, but some things are renewable and some things are gone with the wind and time.

In the "old" days I managed the shop by sales and engineering, but in my most recent venture have actually done the work I'd previously expected someone else to do. Of course, without an overhead crane I had to manufacture steel products on wooden topped tables on metal horses. I have to tell you, my greatest challenge was to overcome heat-bent elements getting out of square. What I see in today's Scripture is the likelihood the builders of the tabernacle used the same methods as me to certify the length of same-length parallel things. Measure the slope from the ends of each side to tell if the object is square. One might say "X" marks the spot (three-dimensional center).

Pray it.

Keep me between the lines of Your word, Father, so I can deal with those living outside them.
