Today's Scripture: "Five curtains shall be coupled to one another, and the other five curtains shall be coupled to one another." Ex 26:3

After a long drive to northeast Arkansas, the funeral of a family member and a longer drive home, my wife and I rested overnight to get up to join our church family in worship. In a similar way, this past week I was told my services were no longer needed in a business association that to me had become like family.
The term family is used in many ways, but when trouble comes it will cause family to either come together or come apart. It's sad that some people have to leave and only look back to think what might have been. Psalm 119:71 tells us, "It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes." If this is true in your life, I advise you to open your eyes and learn from the experience.
Thank You, God, for a family of believers that can be shaken but never fragmented.
