Today's Scripture: "Therefore his parents said, “He is of age; ask him.” Jn 9:23

The Bible is a vast repository of life's situations. From Genesis to Revelation, we are given examples of what God said, how someone reacted, what they did and the result. But we also have the reaction of God and how it affected that person and others. The value of God's word is established, but neglect marks the life of most of us as we get our answers from people and places other than the Bible.
I am astounded that few Christians actually pray. I'm not saying they don't pray at dinner or when asked to pray in church or pray silently when someone else prays. But how often do they step aside from their regular life and communicate with God? And if they never pray, then they can never ask God for anything, and if they never ask for anything they never look for it and eventually see no purpose in praying. Talk about a circle that never ends.
Thank You, Jesus, that I never have to find you when I need You, like right now.
