Today's Scripture: "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." Ps 34:19

5694. Trouble is the gateway to deliverance. JG

See it.

Shape shifters

Live it.

In the science fiction world, a creature who can change his appearance is the most dangerous of all. In the real world it's hard enough dealing with things that don't change, dealing with things that do can be frustrating. You may not have noticed, but the world it's a changin'. There was a time when phones had wires and you didn't carry one with you. Today I won't leave home without my cell phone and if I do, I will turn around and go back and get it. And it's not just me. Our prayer band of men communicate via text messaging to the group at large.

Spell-checker is a feature of digital phones that changes words you input. Recently a member of our team responded to an invitation with the text, "I will be there." His phone changed his message to, "I will be Heather." To that I responded, "Welcome Heather. So the two of you will be coming?" Doug laughed (LOL) but was embarrassed for not checking his message after he sent it. Everyone with a smart phone has dealt with a "smart" device acting dumb. Doug's a really smart guy. If only we teach people to be smarter than their devices.

Pray it.

You are faithful, God, and You make a way that makes me want to be faithful.
