Today's Scripture: "But when the time of the promise drew near which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt till another king arose who did not know Joseph." Acts 7:17,18

See it.

Whuz knot

Live it.

Putation is what you've become and think about becoming, imputation is what someone makes you while reputation is what people may have heard about you. But when putation gives way to imputation, reputation doesn't matter. When Joseph was sold as a slave in Egypt, he became the most important man in the kingdom. Eventually his family enjoyed his prosperity and fame, but after he was dead and the next king came along, his family became the slaves that he was.

Joining a new congregation is not like being Egypt, but when it's comprised of people you've never met who knew each other at a previous congregation, it can feel like it. One can only hope that an exodus is not around the corner.

Pray it.

Thank You, Jesus, for showing me how to love, how to live and how to die.
