Today's Scripture: "So they again called the man who was blind, and said to him, “Give God the glory! We know that this Man is a sinner.” Jn 9:24

The goal of education should be to teach students to learn and direct them in making proper decisions. While that may be true in some cases, the overwhelming emphasis in public education is just the opposite. Students are indoctrinated from day one to fit in and not be exceptional. They are taught to be dependent and to hate anyone who disagrees with them or has independent thought. Rather than listen to opposing ideals, they resort to mob action in order to threaten and quieten it.
A personal debt is owed to the teachers who did their best to make me what I am today, both in secular education and in the church. My parents are the ones to whom I owe a great debt. They provided the environment that helped me grow and learn. But most of all, I owe a debt to God. I can never repay that debt, but I can expose someone with a wrong attitude and teach someone with a good attitude what God has taught me.
Remind me, God, to not waste time on things with no eternal consequence.
