Today's Scripture: "But when he was set out, Pharaoh’s daughter took him away and brought him up as her own son." Acts 7:21

Seeing a marquee in front of a church yesterday, my friend called to ask my wife and I to join he and and his wife at a concert last night. We accepted his invitation and while there greeted friends from many churches we'd served in the past. Most interesting was meeting a couple who came to Memphis from New York ten years ago and attended one of those churches. I asked what brought them to town and learned we have common associates at his work and former church.
If connecting lines were drawn on a map between where we all came from and where we planned to go, it would look like a complex spider web of connections. What's even more interesting is many people assembled in that little church in Memphis were in other parts of the country twenty-four hours earlier. Obviously, some things are meant to be.
I trust where I am and where and when You are sending me, God.
