Today's Scripture: "And a cubit on one side and a cubit on the other side, of what remains of the length of the curtains of the tent, shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle, on this side and on that side, to cover it." Ex 26:13

See it.

For the unexpected

Live it.

You'd think that everyone would be prepared for the end of their life. But you'd be amazed at the number of people who ignore it and one day find a mountain of decisions inescapable. The problem arises, however, when a parent can't decide for themselves and their children must make uncomfortable decisions for them. In the absence of adequate information, I recently recognized the need to inform people in advance of their responsibilities. Open your eyes and you'll find this issue is trending.

Just this morning I saw a billboard advertising a senatorial candidate who promised to deal with elder abuse. Who would think that a nursing home would abuse its patients or patrons? Well, it not only happens but is brazen due to the fact most children forget their parents once they're in a nursing home. You'd think an organization that cares for people would help them make the right decisions. But keep in mind that most of the funding for end of life businesses come from a lack of planning on someone's part.

Pray it.

Forgive me, God, for presuming I will have time to do something later.
