Never say never

Live it.

A commercial aired yesterday that I can't get out of my head. It pictures a mass of people running to get ahead and one person reaches the fins line. The problem is that the finish line is a cliff and they all perish. That is a perfect picture of America.

Today a Judge is being questioned by politicians to see if he should be confirmed to the highest court in the land. That, in itself, is funny, but the fact that once he is approved, only death or retirement can take him our of his seat. I have to remind myself that with every problem the current administration faces, new conservative judges was all I could hope for. There's no guarantee of how a new one will rule, and there may be a few more victories for conservatives, but balance was what I wanted and a rightward lean what I prayed. Pardon the pun, but the jury is out of that one.

Pray it.

I am so thankful, God, that the Solid Rock in under our country's collapsing foundation of sand.
