Today's Scripture: "Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help." Ps 35:2

5729. God doesn't need my help but He demands my attention. JG

See it.

Live it.

Science fiction drama always perks my interest, but time travel scenarios captivate me. Recently my wife and I saw Arrival, an obvious science fiction movie. I'd already seen it and walked out shaking my head trying to understand it. But then I took my wife on a date to see it at the budget theater and was not surprised the subject matter kept her attention. The plot deals with linguistics and time travel more than a traditional sci-fi exploit. All the way home we found ourselves discussing time travel and how the Bible deals with language differences. King Solomon implied it and I can confirm it: there is a first time for everything.

Pray it.

I pledge, God, to hear, read, study, memorize, meditate and apply Your word.
