Today's Scripture: "A brother offended is harder to win than a strong city, and contentions are like the bars of a castle." Pr. 18:19

5737. Reconciliation requires confession and repentance, not another promise. JG

See it.

April fools

Live it.

It's doubtful the call of Rodney King for the mostly white police force to get along with blacks had takers—on either side. There are calls today for the divided United States to work together toward common goals. But with the last administration behind the scenes trying to destroy the currently elected one, don't hold your breath. What's required for reconciliation is confession and forgiveness, things most people could never think of doing.

It's funny how Russia is blamed for trying, but failing, to interfere with the last American election. That may have happened, but the current state of turmoil in America is more than they could have ever hoped. Russia might be airing television replays of what's said in Washington everyday and never lack for a comedy show.

Pray it.

Help me know who is reconcilable, God, to avoid wasting Your time.
