See it.

Not a clue

Live it.

I've watched church musical dramas for years just to surmise there must be a choir singing somewhere to back up the singing cast. But until recently, I didn't know how it was done and what was required to do it. Last night was the first dress rehearsal for The Scarlet Thread and wearing sandals for the first time in my life while transitioning from stage to pit choir, I have great appreciation for anyone who's done it before.

Our first drama practice had everyone wearing a sign around their neck describing their role. Being a new church member I have a long way to go to learn everyone's name, but thanks to the signs I now know some people by their stage name. Last night, the person sizing my costume didn't assign my name to it, so I stood for a long time as people searched for my outfit. Finally, someone approached me with a big smile holding my costume with the label, "FOB," for Father of the Bride. I sure hope people get to know me personally and don't forever call me, "FOB."

Pray it.

Thank You, God, for not just knowing my name but giving it to me.
