Today's Scripture: "For he supposed that his brethren would have understood that God would deliver them by his hand, but they did not understand." Acts 7:25

5745. A friend will never stop loving you. JG

See it.

Know your place

Live it.

The beautiful thing about praying is you depend on no one else to understand, approve or go with you. I thought at one time I could teach or even transfer this lifestyle to others. I haven't given up, but so far I've been unable to do so. I've come to realize there are not many people, especially men, who pray, much less the intercessors God intended.

A person could feel rejected when he meets with constant disappointment. But when you work in the desert and most everyone else is satisfied with being thirsty, you tend to withdraw. There in private time with God, you have to be reminded that you're not the problem. A relationship is between two people and not a group activity. Need a friend? Take time to be alone with God and realize you're never alone, even among strangers in a crowded room.

Pray it.

Jesus, You are the water I need in a dry and thirsty land.
