Today's Scripture: "Jesus said to them, 'If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, "We see." Therefore your sin remains.' " Jn 9:41

See it.

Second that

Live it.

It's dangerous to believe everything you hear, but it's equally dangerous to ignore what you hear. The best example of a godly society might be the Hebraic community that accepted the tenets of the Ten Commandments as sacred. But when interpersonal disagreement came up, they had Halakhahs. These decisions were the result of mature godly men hearing disagreement with a desire to offer biblical resolution. These elder rulings were passed down to future generations for use in similar situations.

Preaching at rehab this week, I announced my role as prophet and invited those attending to ask questions. Immediately, someone asked if I had revelations I could share. I explained that a prophet is someone who speaks God's word without compromise. If they hear something "new," it might be revelation to them but can be confirmed by checking Scripture. I expressed my desire to be held accountable and even invited discussion as long as Scripture is the basis of our discussion. I've never heard it, but that should be stated by everyone standing behind a pulpit and claiming to represent God.

Pray it.

God, I ask for clarity to speak the words needed to do Your work.
