Today's Scripture: "But he who did his neighbor wrong pushed him away, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge over us?'" Acts 7:27
5760. Leadership is not as big an issue as followship. JG
Social behavior is what defines a person. A leader is someone with naturally high assertive and lower responsive tendencies, or behavior style. Should the Holy Spirit take up residence in a person, that dominant behavior is enhanced for the sake of the church. Other people can lead when asked but they will not have natural tendency to do it.
Obviously anyone can lead, but only someone with leadership tendencies can do it well. Moses had those tendencies before he was ever in position to execute it and he led regardless if he or others expected it. Unfortunately a leader needs followers and therein lies the problem with the church at large.
I will listen to Your anointed, God, but I will obey You and hold them accountable.
