Today's Scripture: "And you shall make for the screen five pillars of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold; their hooks shall be gold, and you shall cast five sockets of bronze for them." Ex 26:37

My wife and I share one source of transportation, namely a used 1997 Ford Expedition we bought on August 13, 2013. To say our vehicle has been faithful is an understatement. At times it seemed angels kept it running for our use in work and ministry. And it's still functioning albeit on borrowed time. This week our truck odometer rolled over to 250,000 miles as you can see from the photo above. You might also notice the fuel gauge is indicating low fuel, but you'd be looking at the wrong gauge. The trip odometer is our real fuel indicator and reveals that we've driven 153.9 miles since our last fill-up. We've learned, the hard way, that driving over 200 miles after a fill-up is at our own peril.
The specifications for the tabernacle construction left no room for interpretation. Designed for the ark containing the law given to Moses, it's interesting that men have tried to "explain" it and in so doing has mostly perverted it. One would like to think the inspired word of God left no room for private interpretation. But men with agendas have created twisted paraphrases claiming inspiration. I give them credit for that, but inspired by whom.
Thank You, God, for the consistency of your Word that men can try, but can't change.
