Today's Scripture: "You shall put it under the rim of the altar beneath, that the network may be midway up the altar." Ex 27:5

5845. Proper position makes practice profitable. JG

See it.

Live it.

In my experience, the right skills in the wrong position are of null effect. For example, you don't want your all-star quarterback snapping the football to an all-star center. Their skills would not be compatible with their position requirements. Not to be an armchair quarterback, there's still something to be said about vantage point and looking back. With real time video of every play from multiple vantage points, real time strategy will never be as effective as it will be after seeing what actually happened and naking corrections.

In teaching prayer I find position is the most important aspect. Philippians chapter two tells us that Jesus becoming a man and allowing Himself to be sacrificed, placed Him in position to be Lord over everything. What most people don't understand and fail to do is intercede from position just as Jesus does. For example, a husband should pray for his family from his God-anointed position and not by petition. If you don't understand this basic Scriptural concept, then from my vantage point you have yet to pray with the power granted you.

Pray it.

Thank You, God, for the grace and mercy afforded Your servant's family.
