See it.

Smidge n pinch

Live it.

My intentions were good when I decided to cook dinner for my soon to be wife. When we sat down to dinner, both of us thought the taste a little funky. "What's in the gravy," she asked. Evidently, steak gravy should not include every diverse flavor you like, such as cinnamon. Afterward, my finance proved her love by forgiving my cooking—after she made real brown gravy. Thirty-eight years later she's still making wonderful tasting food as long as I limit my creative visits to the kitchen.

As I was writing this, my wife showed me a bouquet she gathered from our rose garden (above). The red ones are fragrant Mr. Lincoln variety purchased at a nursery. and the yellow ones are Peace variety purchased from a distressed plant pallet at a different nursery. Both are beautiful but together they tell a story, much anyone who represents a member in the family of God.

Pray it.

Thank You, God, for finding value in me, someone the world finds ugly and expendable.
