See it.

Blind-sided

Live it.

I watched intently as the employee at a fast food drive-through was picking up trash on the parking lot around the store. He didn't see me watching him, but I was impressed how thoroughly he was doing his thankless job. I couldn't help but compare him to most fast food clerks who reflect a careless attitude. Having said that, I can only conclude that he was likely a good employee. By no means perfect, he seemed to have a degree of integrity because of what he did when no one was watching.

Have I mentioned that I don't see things like most people? Someone just called me to talk about my one-line Jimism from yesterday. I re-read it and realized it was indeed a deep thought. I spent a couple of hours developing it and it was and still is true. I tried explaining it to them using Job's persecution and Malachi's refining fire, but am not sure they got it. Nevertheless, I'm honored that anyone would worry about one sentence out of the 5,895 others I've written over the years.

Pray it.

Thank you, God, for speaking volumes in the smallest verse of Scripture.
