Today's Scripture: "Now take Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister to Me as priest, Aaron and Aaron’s sons: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar." Ex 28:1

Feeling a little down over the weekend, I noticed that I was getting light-headed after bending over. Saturday was a heat advisory day and I worked outside for most of the day. I didn't pass out or anything like that, but I was so tired yesterday it was hard work to stand and sing in choir. I've never been one to complain how I feel, so for me to later ask my daughter to take my blood pressure, she and everyone else became alarmed. Before long we were at the fire station to have a professional confirm my low pressure readings. After evaluating my condition, he saw nothing to suggest I was in danger. He did, however, advise me to watch it closely and go to the doctor if it continues or worsens. Nothing new there.
Today is Loony Tunes Day in America as we experience a full solar eclipse moving across the nation. People are acting bizarre and crazier than ever. They act like the world will change, if not end, because of the moon's temporary alignment with the sun. Today I am working on my ministry schedule for the rest of the week, so I expect things to continue as in the days of Noah. It is interesting, however, to ponder how neat it would be for a loud crack of thunder and a trumpet to sound right when everyone is looking up. They expect to see something with their special glasses, but when they take them off find that "Noah's" ark is missing.
Forget the sun, what a glorious day to see the Son face to face.
