Today's Scripture: "And you shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty." Ex 28:2

5910. Clean implies no dirt, not less dirt. JG

See it.

Rake over

Live it.

When my daughter bought her house, it was a mecca of outdoor lighting and water fountains highlighting the green-scape—which she didn't want. Large crepe myrtles were growing within inches of the house all around it and even planted on the property line where a fence couldn't be built. What she couldn't know was that her property was a down stream river every time it rained making soil erosion the worst problem of all. In addition, every invasive vine known to man was planted whose roots have run and will forever sprout up all over the yard. Her property was a growing wilderness/swamp and she didn't know it.

Today, we are preparing to make major improvements to our backyard which include sodding the yard and installing soil erosion control. We also plan to remove trees/vines and finally enclose the backyard with fencing. All this is reminiscent to making a holy cover for Aaron. He was the same person underneath the garments but was made holy by what he wore and Who prescribed it. But he still had the ability to become unholy while wearing a holy garment.

Pray it.

Forgive us, Lord, for thinking we can know You and sin with impunity.
