Today's Scripture: ". . . who found favor before God and asked to find a dwelling for the God of Jacob." Acts 7:46

"But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord" (Gen. 6:8). "God remembered Abraham" (Gen. 19:29). "The Lord was with Joseph" (Gen. 39:2). "And the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a friend speaks to his friend" (Ex. 33:11) I could go on, but you get the idea. The Bible is full of examples of people whom God favored. And each of those people played a part in God's plan of redemption and as a result were blessed.
We look in the Bible and see all the great people there but can't see ourselves being like them. We conclude they were special in some way and we don't meet their standard. But the reality is they weren't special until God made them that way and that means we're qualified. So, what are you waiting for? Ask God to bless you and then use your life to bless Him.
I don't want to be famous or renown, God, just used.
