Today's Scripture: "Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause and let them say continually, 'Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.'" Ps 35:27

See it.

Why me?

Live it.

A friend feared his wife's medical situation was his fault because of his decision to serve God. Another person couldn't understand why a job demotion happened causing them to worry about their future. No doubt millions of people blame God for the recent losses brought about by recent hurricanes. It appears God is only mentioned by most people when something is wrong or something bad happens. When the sun is shining and everything seems normal, things are as they are supposed to be.

At a meeting this morning, two friends wanted to make sure I understood their plans for Tuesday night meetings would not include me. Nothing personal there, just a change in personnel and direction. I smiled and explained that I was concerned about having to disappoint them if I was included. I explained that God had adjusted my available nights months ago, so I would not be able to attend Tuesday even if invited. What they thought would be bad news was no news for me and we all laughed about it.

Pray it.

God, You go before me, but are still behind, beside, over and under me at the same time.
