Today's Scripture:"And you shall put the two stones on the shoulders of the ephod as memorial stones for the sons of Israel. So Aaron shall bear their names before the Lord on his two shoulders as a memorial." Ex 28:12

See it.

This stONE's for you

Live it.

It was with pleasure that my wife and I recently joined friends at the Neshoba County Fair in Mississippi. The weather was good so we walked through exhibits on dirt and not mud. Our time there was something we wanted to remember and that required a reminder. So I purchased a special ring and picked up a notable rock from the ground and etched a message on it. You know, I might be able to make a pathway to our front door with all the reminders I've collected over the years. But today this photo (above) is a good illustration of following a Scriptural principle.

Last night as I preached on God's word to a group of men, I demonstrated what I said believed. While my Bible was opened, I did not refer to it when I used a text to make a point. "How can you expect to remember what you fail to memorize," I told the men. What they didn't know until I told them was the greatest gift God has given me is to speak on a subject without notes and do it while fielding questions and never losing focus on point. Only God can do that because I certainly can't. It all begins when we take note of what God says, memorize it, remember it and then tell someone.

Pray it.

As long as I have memory, I will use it to honor You, God.
