Today's Scripture: "Therefore the sisters sent to Him, saying, 'Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick.'” Jn 11:3

5944. What seems an emergency to me might simply be a reminder. JG

See it.

Live it.

Before anyone can help they must be made aware of a need. Watching the morning news, I was reminded of the disaster in Puerto Rico. With the hurricane aftermath in Texas and Florida still on-going, it's easy to forget the island that is a United States territory. But they all need help in one form or another but we need to be reminded that the little island needs immediate help.

I often ponder what it was like for Jesus to be immortal God but not only live among men but put up with our frailties. As God, He is the omniscient all-knowing Creator of everything but let people "remind" Him of things He already knew. The amazing thing was His actions would prove to be lessons for everyone involved, even us who read of it centuries later. We have some God who provides our every need while we remind Him of what we think He doesn't know.

Pray it.

Thank You, God, for care that extends beyond what I know.
