The picture above shows our back fence with a trunk coming out on both sides. Without information as to how that happened, logic tells me the previous owner of our house planted three young crepe myrtles and two birch trees directly on the back property line before the adjacent house or fence was put up. I can't say for certain but there might have been a confrontation over the property line and the fence was an obstinately built directly adjacent to the trees. If they thought the trees would not survive, they were wrong. The previous owner of this property and the house behind us have both moved, so any action regarding the fence could be a quagmire—unless the new owner and I agree to a solution.

Pray it.

There has never been a problem You couldn't solve, Lord, if we simply ask.
