Today's Scripture: "And you shall put settings of stones in it, four rows of stones: The first row shall be a sardius, a topaz, and an emerald; this shall be the first row;" Ex 28:17

See it.

Live it.

In golf, a coin is flipped to determine who goes first to begin a round. Then the winner of a particular hole gets the honor of going first on the next hole. If no one wins a hole, the order stays the same on the next tee. If we can create such order playing a game, you'd think adults would not break in line to get ahead of others who've been waiting longer than them.

It's never been my intention to deliver in-depth studies on particular Scripture but to focus on message. In that spirit, it is interesting that this first stone was blood red implying the importance of the blood sacrifice to everything else. It would be consummated at Calvary when the Lamb of God became the final sacrifice, but the high priest was ignorant of that (Isaiah 53). It is my honor to be counted among those who benefit from the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

Pray it.

Thank You, Jesus, for the cross and the honor of associating myself with Your name.
