Today's Scripture: "Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who foretold the coming of the Just One, of whom you now have become the betrayers and murderers." Acts 7:52

5963. I'd say more, but I've already told you more than I know. JG

See it.

So you know

Live it.

"You can't tell anyone." How many times have you heard that and proceeded to tell one person who you knew wouldn't tell anyone—before they did. Soon you're looking for the culprit because you've been accused of spilling the beans and your fault was telling someone you thought you could trust. But you're the one who violated the trust and the person you told just did what you did. Sometime you wish someone would spill the beans so time doesn't erase meaningful experiences. Personally I wish recordings were made of Mark Twain so an impersonation would be accurate. Instead stories are told about him that never happened, much like what he did on stage.

Did you know that a person can trace his or her heritage through DNA or an ancestry service that tracks documents. I often wonder if my great-great-great grandchild will know how I prayed for them? Probably not, because even the most detailed journal like mine must be saved and passed down to someone who cares or it will wind up in a Spring cleaning trash bin. So it is with parentage. We'll never truly know anything about our progenitors, what they looked or sounded like. But our generation has cameras and recording devices yet most memories will be buried with us never to be revealed. It seems we haven't learned anything.

Pray it.

Thank You, God, for telling me as much as I want to know.
