Today's Scripture: "He devises wickedness on his bed; He sets himself in a way that is not good; He does not abhor evil." Ps 36:4

See it.

As charged

Live it.

With rampant shootings and violence accelerating in the streets of America, everyone is asking who is responsible. Some blame violent video games, others social injustice, but is there any doubt that Hollywood is the primary villain? Think about it: movies used to be wholesome with the good guy winning and the bad guy losing, but now we cheer for bad people and laugh at good people. If that weren't bad enough, we're exposed to crimes and horrible murders on the big screen that we never imagined. And all for the sake of entertainment and motivating writers to go even further off the track of decency.

While Hollywood is the most visible reason for crime today, it cannot be overlooked that they simply feed the insatiable hunger of the sinful nature in men. The next thing you know, these mindless aberrants of society will put on a great award ceremony to recognize those who excel in the minds of few people. Oh wait, they already do that and "good" people watch it and celebrate with them. If the winners of the Academy get a trophy for indecency, everyone watching it should get a participation trophy as well.

Pray it.

Wake up Your people, God, who tolerate sin and think they get a pass.
