Live it.

Most things are better off pairing with something else. The breastplate was held up by the person wearing it and someone else probably threaded the braided chains of gold through the rings to hold the plate to their chest. In the same way, any ministry should consider having help to do the work of ministry, if possible. This for sake of each one serving in a different capacity for the same work.

Several years ago I was inspired by Luke 10:1 to start a disciple's ministry based on the power of two. Many people view discipleship as preaching to a group who take notes and copy the example of their teacher. True biblical discipleship is one person working with another who is being trained to work with another, and so on. This is the model that the Apostle Paul established for ministry. There's preaching and Bible study and then there is discipleship. The work of the disciple is to teach the word at home and around the world while practicing reciprocity. Why do we make something so simple so hard?

Pray it.

Thank You, God, for the opportunity to treat someone like You treat me.
