Today's Scripture: "Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds." Ps 36:5

Thankful for office space inside the house, I no longer work in the heat of summer or the cold of the winter. But my outside makeshift desk wasn't suitable for use inside. So I bought two old desks at the Thrift store and brought them home. Placing them side by side, I planned to use one as a desk and one for a side table but one was six inches taller than the other. So, how do you make two different height desks workable?
Buying four lifters for the legs of the short desk, I raised it up six inches. But I was not able to raise my chair up for the taller desk so I've worked for a while with my hands raised up to reach the computer keyboard and found it stressful. Today I'd had enough and removed the lifters from the short desk and now sit comfortably at it. I've discovered that having both desks at the same height was not as important as sitting comfortably while I'm working. It seems that sometimes moving down can lift us up.
Thank You, God, for lifting me up, sometimes when I don't think I need it.
