Live it.

I recall Craven Piano Studio being across the street from the college I attended. Though I was not engaged in the music program at school, my brief aspiration was to service pianos. That required serving as apprentice to someone willing to teach me, which I didn't have. But still I thought about it and confident I would have been a good piano technician. Today, I've found other ways to satisfy my longing and that's by singing.

The choir affords me opportunity to stand behind the pianist and close to the orchestra. I find joy in watching our accompanist play and becoming absorbed in the sounds of strings, brass and wind instruments. Yesterday I was reminded of the precise workings of the Jewish Tabernacle and the assembly required every time the people moved to a new location. Taking this photo (above) I praised God for all the elements conducive to worship and those who contribute in different ways.

aPray it.

With my voice I will praise You, God, and daily find new ways to do it.
