Today's Scripture: "And you shall put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim, and they shall be over Aaron's heart when he goes in before the Lord. So Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel over his heart before the Lord continually." Ex 28:30

See it.

Live it.

Romans 12:1-2 is a staple of mine to teach men in rehab. While it addresses the danger of conformity with the world, it speaks volumes to knowing and following God's will. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil stood in the garden and Adam was expected to avoid it. But the two decisions stones on the garment of the High Priest told him God's "Yes" or "No," to his question. The people were to embrace it. Of course, knowing God's will doesn't mean a person cares to know it.

To effect one of two responses, the stones may have been the same and green or red shone through both. More than likely, the stones were different colors and one was named "Yes" and the other "No." In that case either stone could glow. We can only speculate as to how it worked, but the truth extends from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation none:none, knowing God's will requires asking.

Pray it.

Thank You, Holy Spirit, for convicting me of sin and using Scripture to teach me.
