Today's Scripture: "But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You." Jn 11:22

6009. There's agreement and there's appeasement, neither touching the other. JG

See it.

Prove it

Live it.

This morning in a prayer meeting, I spoke on faith and Hebrews 11:5-6 mentioning that God had recently rewarded my faith. I asked God for confirmation that my direction in ministry was what he desired. What happened was so amazing, it changed me. In faith, I looked for two specific yet highly unlikely things for a special yet somewhat outrageous project. After much searching at the most likely places, I got nothing. Then one Tuesday before my Rehab teaching session, I stopped in their Thrift store.

Inspecting every garment in every rack, I thought it a dead-end and was on my way out. Then at the end of the wrong rack was something so conspicuous I couldn't help but stop and look. Side by side were two garments in the very colors and fabric I desired. But the God-thing was the fact they were both in my size. It was like my name was on them. Right there, I raised my hands and praised God, not for the shirts but knowing God was there. You know, I may never use those shirts as planned, but I will never forget that day and making an altar in the middle of a thrift store.

Pray it.

The fact You meet me, God, is far more important than anything You can give me.
