6012. Not all reality is visible. JG
It was June 2000 when my mom drew her last breath, a single tear dripped from her eye as she slipped from this life into the next one. The Hospice chaplain comforted the family with the idea the tear was not pain, but one of peace and finality. She also suggested it might be seeing her faith turn into reality. No one knows for certain, and we can only speculate what might be the last physical act this side of death. It appears we will not know until we experience it ourselves. But even then, we will not be able to educate those we left behind (Luke 16:27-31).
I gladly rest in You, Jesus, to handle all things on both sides of death.
