6014. Conclusion without resolution leads to illusion. JG
Most of the things we will hear today are superficial. Those are obvious statements expressed without giving all the details. The problem with that is it leads to opinions based on influence or impression, the source of delusion. It takes a lifetime of work to know the facts, avoid what's debatable and deliver words that will only be disputed by the ignorant. That may be an unattainable target, but it will nevertheless be my intention to achieve it.
Years ago I challenged myself to make a simple, yet profound statement from single verses of Scripture I call Jimisms. Some verses have no apparent deeper meaning and that's hard enough. But later I elected to use non-religious terms to express my thoughts. By that, I hope to engage non-religious people in discussing spiritual truth much like Jesus did. He didn't convince everyone, but no one could question His motives or logic—except His adversaries who couldn't be convinced of anything.
Your word, God, is complex but not so much You won't help me understand it.
